Isaiah Davis-Joyner didn't grow up with the spotlight — he grew up in the shadows of it. Raised in New York City and competing at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Zay knew what it felt like to be overlooked, doubted, and left out. While others moved on without him, he refused to disappear. Every closed door, every ignored phone call, every moment he was passed up — he carried it.
